Town Council Powers
Farnham Town Council has limited powers and duties because it is classified as a town council. This means that it has the same powers as a Parish Council. These powers and duties are set by Central Government Legislation.
Some of the duties are compulsory and others the Town Council can choose to exercise if it so wishes.
The full list of powers and duties available to Farnham Town Council are available to view on the document entitled ‘Parish Council Power and Duties’
