Community Grants

The Town Council’s Policy on Community Grants is based on the principle of promoting the development of partnerships which encourage and enable local community organisations to deliver local projects for the residents of Farnham.

The Guidelines are available to view here, which give more information about the criteria of Community Grants.

Community Grants, normally up to a maximum value of £2000, are available to any not-for–profit organisation that wishes to complete a one-off project.  Farnham Town Council only receives funding from local residents of Farnham and therefore only has limited funds available for grants.

There are many different types of projects likely to be considered for the Community Grant Scheme, such as; Youth facilities, schemes and projects, cultural and arts schemes, heritage projects, leisure sport and play facilities, community buildings, village hills, community transport, elderly and disabled, and any sustainable community environmental projects.

If you would like to apply for a grant please download an application form or request a form via email or telephone the office on 01252 712667.  Forms may also be collected in person from the Farnham Town Council Offices, South Street, Farnham, GU9 7RN.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon, 20th January 2012.
