Civic Events

Civic ceremonies and events are the public face of  the civic office.  Here in Farnham, at the beginning of each Term of Office, a Civic Service is held for the incoming Mayor.  Other civic events which have been held over the last few years  include:  the Trafalgar Commemorative weekend,  D Day celebrations, Twinning visits etc.  The Mayor also traditionally cuts the first slice of venison at the Annual Venison Dinner held at Farnham Castle.
