Shows and Events

Farnham Town Council organise several shows and events for the allotment holders throughout the year.  Details are available below:

Scarecrow Competition

Winner non-traditional Scarecrow 2007.

All Allotment holders are invited to make a scarecrow.  The scarecrow can either be a traditional scarecrow or a non traditional scarecrow.

 

 

All entered scarecrows are judged in July by the Town Mayor and a prize is awarded to each category.  

Winter Lecture

The winter lecture is open to all allotment holders.   It is generally held in late February/early March on a subject requested by the allotment holders.

The Allotment show is held annually at A Festival of Gardening at the end of July.

 

 

There are several classes to cover most vegetables and children's classes. Cups are awarded for the Best Exhibit in Show and most points in all classes.
