Farnham Farmers' Market
The monthly Farnham Farmers’ market will be held as usual this Sunday 22 August 2010, between 10am and 1.30pm in Central Car Park.
Farmers’ Markets enable the producers and growers to sell their products direct to the customers which means fresher and tastier food because fewer food miles are travelled, opportunity to talk to the person that has grown, reared, baked, produced etc the product you are buying.
Many stall holders are happy to provide free tasting sessions before you buy and are happy to give recipe ideas.
A tea tent will be run by the Red Cross who will provide shoppers with tea, coffee and cakes. Patrick Webber will be attending again this month to provide some music for everyone to enjoy.
