New Leaflet Available Now
A new events leaflet is now available to collect from Farnham Town Council. Promoting the popular Music in the Meadow summer concerts, which have run successfully for the past few years on Sunday afternoons, the A5 leaflet provides information on the 10 concerts, which have been organised for this year.
Talented groups, some new to the line up will take turns to perform in the Council’s Bandstand in Gostrey Meadow, offering an eclectic mix of music, including pop, brass and light jazz.
Beginning on 13th June, the concerts will take place from 3pm to 5pm, with the exception of 4th July. On this Sunday, Farnham Town Council is organising a bigger event called Picnic in the Park. From 12 Noon – 5pm, 3 music groups will entertain, all offering something a bit different to suit most musical tastes. A marquee will be on site, where refreshments can be purchased including hot food and alcoholic beverages.
For more information on the entertainment scheduled for both events, pick up a Music in the Meadow leaflet, which is available to collect from a Visitor Information Point located at the library, The Bush Hotel, the Farnham Maltings or the Town Council offices in South Street.
