Farnham in Bloom - Girl Guides Centenary Floral Tribute
2010 is the year that hundreds of thousands of Girl Guiding UK members will celebrate 100 years of guiding in their centenary celebrations.
To contribute to the celebrations Farnham Town Council will be planting a floral tribute beside Farnham Police Station to mark its recognition of this important event.
The general public, organisations, local businesses, existing and former Girl Guides and their families are invited to make a donation to the cost of the display-no amount too small!
Have your name displayed on the plaque alongside and help to celebrate this important anniversary. If you are a former Guide and now have time on your hands and love flowers, you may even like to help us with the maintenance of the display?
Contact Sheila Rayner at Farnham Town Council on 01252 712667 or e-mail sheila.rayner(at)farnham.gov.uk with any questions or offers of help or donations. Cheques should be made payable to Farnham Town Council and should be accompanied by your address, telephone number and the name you would like to appear on the plaque.
