Cemeteries Service Better Than Ever
Farnham Town Council, invited local Funeral Directors to a presentation on the improving services for the Cemeteries (West Street, Green Lane, Hale and Badshot Lea).
Over tea and coffee the Funeral Directors listened to a presentation given by the Town Council.
It was an opportunity to exchange views and ideas on the Town Council’s Bereavement Services It was a chance for all involved to get to know one another and exchange views about the services provided.
The Funeral Directors were interested to learn that the Town Council is to open a Garden of Reflection in January 2010, where ashes could be scattered and a Memorial Book and benches are to be installed where people can commemorate their departed loved ones.
Some of the Funeral Directors also expressed an interest in joining the Town Council’s On Line 24 hour a day burial booking service.
The Funeral Directors were pleased to learn that the Town Council intended to have a meeting regularly to keep in touch and exchange views.
