The new FTC reception desk
The final part of the Farnham Town Council reception jigsaw was installed last week, the reception desk.
If you’ve visited the Council Offices within the last couple of months you will have noticed the change of layout to the building. Farnham Town Council now has their own reception area, on the left as you walk into the building, rather than a door into the back office.
Since being installed Farnham Town council has received a large number of visitors many of whom come to find out about local services and events, get local information, pick up visitor leaflets and find out who they should talk to about a problem.
Roland Potter, Town Clerk, goes onto say that ‘all the comments that we have received have been positive and people are pleased that we now have a presence in the town’. Ginny Gordon, Receptionist, added that ‘In many instances the question is not about a service provided by Farnham Town Council, but we are happy to help and point people in the right direction where we can’.
The Farnham Town Council reception is open Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm.
