New Bench for Firgrove Hill
The new bench.
Farnham Town Council has provided a new bench on Firgrove Hill, on the corner of grass next to Trafalgar Court.
Local resident Mrs Shepherd, who first requested the bench, was delighted to be met at the new bench by Margaret Ireland, a fellow resident, Ward Councillors, Jill Hargreaves and Bob Frost, and the Town Mayor, Cllr John Ward and Mayoress, Mrs Gillian Ward, on her walk back up Firgrove Hill.
Mrs Shepherd comments ‘I am delighted with the new bench. It is a welcome rest for the elderly walking up steepest part with shopping. I wish to thank all those involved’
