Farnham Society Defies Winter Gloom

Despite the winter gloom, The Farnham Society is already planning next year’s Heritage Open Days, from Thursday to Sunday, 9 to 12 September 2010.

Fired by local enthusiasm, and with considerable personal effort by Maggie and Douglas Blyth over the last 3 years, Farnham’s Heritage Open Days have gone from strength to strength.  Mike Bryan has now taken over from Maggie as Heritage Open Days Coordinator for The Society.  He will soon be contacting many of those who have contributed to these events in recent times.  Mike is keen to hear from anyone not yet involved in the Heritage Open Days who would like their historic building or cultural performance to be considered for inclusion in the next event.  He would also like to hear from anyone who might wish to offer financial sponsorship to help enable the event’s resounding success.  Mike can be contacted at:  farn-soc-heritage(at)remove-this.hotmail.co.uk
