Farnham Crime Prevention Panel
A Crime Prevention Panel is a partnership between police and citizens to enquire into local crime and come up with practical solutions.
Farnham Crime Prevention Panel was set up 20 years ago and currently has 10 members who meet on a six weekly basis to plan various activities working within a predetermined business plan.
These activities range from Community Safety Events at local supermarkets, Garden Centres, Public Car parks and giving advice to motorists on car safety at local beauty spots. We also visit Car Sales Agents supplying them with useful Car Safety information to pass on to their customers and assist the police in deterring shop lifting in the town.
Our members bring a variety of skills and knowledge which creates a very enjoyable atmosphere but we do need more members. If you are interested and could spare a few hours please contact the Chairman, John King, on 01252 713672.
