Citizens Advice Bureau
Farnham Citizens Advice is part of Citizens Advice Waverley, an independent charity.
Our aim is to ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities, or of the services available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively and equally. Because of our independence we are able to give completely impartial advice.
Advice is free and totally confidential and is delivered by highly competent volunteer advisers who undergo continuous training so as to be fully conversant with current legislation and rules.
We provide information and advice on:
- Welfare benefits
- Debt and money advice
- Neighbour problems
- Housing, homelessness and Tenancies
- Problems with goods and services
- Relationship breakdowns
- Employment Disputes
- Immigration and Nationality
- Relationship and Separation issues
- Family and Personal
We also provide home visits for older people and run a legal advice clinic with local solicitors. Our services are available both in-person or by telephone appointments. We operate a drop-in service for initial assessment interviews, leaflets or access to advice web-sites.
