TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2010
SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of The Long Road (D113), Farnham from the eastern side of its junction with The Avenue (D5301) to the western side of its junction with Summerfield Lane (D115).
The Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out carriageway surface treatment. These works are anticipated to be completed within two days of the six-month period of operation of the Order, which commences on 10th May 2010, however the closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and vehicular access to premises.
Westbound traffic will be diverted via The Avenue (D5301), Chapel Road (D5301), Boundstone Road (D5301), Gardeners Hill Road (D115) and Summerfield Lane (D115) to the western point of closure. Eastbound traffic will be diverted along the same route in the opposite direction.
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2010
THE SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Weydon Lane (D5317) Farnham that extends from the eastern side of its junction with Talbot Road (D5317) to the western side of its junction with the access road to Farnham Business Park.
The Order is necessary to enable BAM Nuttall Limited to carry out strengthening and protective treatment works to the railway bridge. These works are anticipated to be completed within twelve weeks of the twelve-month period of operation of the Order, which commences on 21st June 2010, however the closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, emergency vehicles and vehicular access to premises will be maintained at all times.
Diversion for vehicles under 4.2 metres:
North-eastbound vehicles under 4.2 metres will be diverted south-west from the south-western point of the closure via Weydon Lane (D5317), Wrecclesham Road (A325), right on to Farnham By-Pass (A31) and right into Weydon Lane (D5317) to the north-eastern point of closure. South-westbound vehicles will be diverted along the same route in the opposite direction.
Diversion for vehicles over 4.2 metres:
North-eastbound vehicles over 4.2 metres will be diverted south-west from the south-western point of the closure via Weydon Lane (D5317), Wrecclesham Road (A325), The Street (A325), Wrecclesham Hill (A325), Echo Barn Lane (B3384), Shortheath Road (B3384), Ridgeway Road (B3384), Great Austins (C122), Tilford Road (C28), Station Hill (B3001), left on to Farnham By-Pass (A31) and left into Weydon Lane (D5317) to the north-eastern point of closure.
South-westbound vehicles will be diverted northeast from the north-eastern point of closure via Weydon Lane (D5317), right onto Farnham By-Pass (A31) north-eastbound, to The Shepherd and Flock roundabout, then Farnham By-Pass (A31) south-westbound, left onto Station Hill (B3001), then via Tilford Road (C28), Great Austins (C122), Ridgeway Road (B3384), Echo Barn Lane (B3384), Wrecclesham Road (A325), The Street (A325), Wrecclesham Hill (A325) and right into Weydon Lane (D5317) to the southwestern point of closure.
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2010
THE ABOVE MENTIONED ORDER PLACED BY SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL FOR B3001 STATION HILL FARNHAM, was made on the grounds that works were being or were proposed to be executed on, or near, the above mentioned road and came in to operation on 22nd March 2010, was due to expire on 21st June 2010 and which closed to vehicular traffic that length of Station Hill (B3001), Farnham from the eastern side of its junction with Station Road to a point eight metres east of the level crossing is to be extended by Surrey County Council until 21st August 2011.
This is to enable Scotia Gas Networks Limited to carry out replacement of 12 and 6 gas mains. The Surrey County Council B3001 Station Hill, Farnham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order will not operate simultaneously with The Surrey County Council Echo Barn Lane (B3384), Shortheath Road (B3384) and Ridgeway Road (B3384) Farnham, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2010 nor will it operate simultaneously with the The Surrey County Council Weydon Lane (D5317) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2010 and will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
North-westbound vehicles under 139 will be diverted from the south-eastern point of closure along Tilford Road, right into Great Austins continuing into Ridgeway Road, Shortheath Road and Echo Barn Lane, right into A325 Wrecclesham Hill continuing into The Street and Wrecclesham Road, right into Farnham By Pass (Eastbound) to Shepherd and Flock Roundabout, onto Farnham By Pass (Westbound) and left into Station Hill to reach the North-western point of the closure.
North-westbound vehicles over 139 will be diverted along the same route to A325 Wrecclesham Hill and then right into Weydon Lane to rejoin the above route on the Farnham By Pass (Eastbound).
South-eastbound vehicles under 139 will be diverted from the North-western point of closure along Station Hill, left into Farnham By Pass (Westbound), left into A325 Wrecclesham Road continuing into The Street and Wrecclesham Hill, left into Echo Barn Lane continuing into Shortheath Road, Ridgeway Road and Great Austins and left into Tilford Road to reach the south-eastern end of the closure.
South-eastbound vehicles over 139 will diverted along the same route to Farnham By Pass, left into Weydon Lane and left into The Street to continue along the above route.
