Surrey County Council hope to help you make this decision, and answer any questions you may have about life as a councillor, by inviting you to County Hall for an open evening on 20 February 2017.

Registration will open at 4.30pm, with refreshments served until the event begins at 5pm. The evening will be focused on the practicalities of being a councillor at Surrey. You will hear about what it’s like to be a Member for Surry County Council and what support mechanisms are in place to help you once elected. At the end of the event, it will be possible for those of you planning to stand for a particular political group to meet with the Group Leader.
