Waverley Borough Council proposes 451 additional houses for Farnham

Waverley Borough Council has begun a consultation on modifications to the Waverley Local Plan Part 1. The proposed modifications allocate an additional 451 houses on top of the agreed 2,330 in the adopted Neighbourhood Plan. This threatens sites at appeal including Waverley Lane, Lower Weybourne Lane, Monkton Lane and Folly Hill.

Respond NOW on the negative impact of MM1 and MM3 on Farnham and its adopted Neighbourhood Plan, email your comments to planningpolicy@waverley.gov.uk or submit them via Waverley’s response form.

Farnham Town Council believes a Plan-led approach is best for Farnham and that no additional allocations should take place in the early years of the Neighbourhood Plan. The consultation started on Friday 8 September and ends at 5pm on Friday 20 October.
