Chamber of Commerce
Farnham Chamber, established in the 1920s, serves its Members’ interests within local retail, manufacturing, service and high-tech industries and provides them with valuable information and services.
It currently has around 130 members.
Chamber Committee members work hard on behalf of the broader membership through their many contacts and associations to ensure members’ interests are best served, supporting the Farnham Tourism Strategy, Visitors’ Forum and Waverley Business Forum for example.
The enormous value of networking for both existing and new business is recognised through regular business exchange and information seminars and other social events.
The Chamber Committee is active in contributing to the discussions on the many schemes and initiatives such as road schemes to benefit the flow of traffic through and around the town and its environs, which will in the longer term result in better trading conditions.
The Chamber has actively supported the introduction of CCTV, and continues to play a key role in the East Street Regeneration proposals, which will help improve trading in this important part of the town.
In addition to a regular newsletter, Farnham Chamber has produced a comprehensive directory that will allow members to gain access to valuable commercial contacts and to advertise and promote their own businesses.
Together with our business exchange meetings this provides a valuable networking opportunity across the town’s business community.
