A fruity Farmers’ Market

A glass bowl of strawberries.

Farnham Farmers’ Market will be bursting with the best of summer produce this Sunday (26 June) at Central Car Park.

Shoppers can enjoy the pick of the crop of seasonal fruit and vegetables, including mouth-watering strawberries from Sopley Farm, plus an array of high quality, locally produced foods including breads, cakes, eggs and cheeses, jams and preserves.

Barbeque chefs looking for locally sourced meat could head to Mill Farm Organics for organic beef, lamb and pork, Hunts Hill Farm for speciality sausages or White Lodge Farm for other tasty treats. For those who want to create their own marinades, Pepperpot Farm will be offering a selection of locally grown herbs. Gardeners in search of inspiration for summer colour should look out for Seale Nurseries and R C Court for roses and other plants.

Councillor Jill Hargreaves, Lead Member for Tourism and Events, says: “Regulars at Farnham Farmers’ Market will know that we are absolutely spoilt for choice with the range of excellent food and other produce available. If you have never managed to get around to coming to the market, I urge you to make this Sunday your first visit: you won’t regret it.”

The 3rd Farnham Scouts will host the charity tea tent and music comes from Kai Jensen. The market takes place from 10am-1.30pm in Central Car Park, off Victoria Road, Farnham.
